We are keen to:-

support the preaching, teaching and prayers of the local church and
individual Christians

We welcome invitations to
speak or preach, making clear connections and challenges to the
application of faith into daily life and work.

available resources (on-line and hard copy)

churches to advise on local engagement with workplaces

And we will circulate
churches with information about special days, events e.g. Workers
Memorial Day (remembers those that die at/or because of work)
We believe that every church
needs to have a clear and ongoing focus in all its preaching and
teaching that gives real support and encouragement, and shows engagement
with the issues faced by their members and local communities in their
daily life and work. This is a key element to their Mission.
A new post, to start with
effect from January 1st 2008 will focus on supporting the faith
communities of Coventry and Warwickshire with reference to their
engaging with members on issues concerning their daily life and work.
Our growing team of associate
chaplains, Readers, Clergy and lay-members deliver much of our work. We
are always looking at ways to increase their numbers and opportunities
for workplace chaplaincy. There may well be someone you know that would
be interested in becoming an associate chaplain and thus increase the
visible impact of your church outside the normal parameters of church
activity. We are happy to advise and support your church in this work
and supervise the support and training of recruits, and assist in
negotiating the chaplaincy into a new location.
