Adopt a Chaplain
We need local churches to step forward and adopt a chaplain and support them in this vital work.
What do you get out of it?
The Chaplain will visit the church with stories and prayer requests.
They will email you with regular updates which you can use in the intercessions or put on your weekly news sheet
What does it involve?
Prayer - this is the most important thing. A Chaplain needs wisdom and spiritual resources.
Finance - there are expenses of servicing and supporting the Chaplaincies that Workcare is committed to as well as the costs of going out and finding new places where we can place a chaplain.
We ask for a commitment of between £200 and £500 a year, but if you can only give a smaller amount, don't let that stop you adopting a Chaplain. You can share the costs with another church.
